Who will be first to say it was a forgivable accident, Europe or Russia? Of course, it was nothing of the sort. It was an attack, a test of will and of technology. Europe’s weakness over Ukraine led to this moment and continued weakness will lead to many more of them.
Look how far some of the drones penetrated into Poland. This should serve as the final wake-up call for Europe

Even if you have high status level, there's likely an EU carrier in the same alliance. Price will be roughly the same, but if you are >4h late they reimburse you €600, and they always cover hotels, etc. Nobody in their right mind should use US carriers when they have a choice.
