We built TLDW (too long, didn't watch), a tool that helps you learn from long YouTube videos better & faster. AI video summaries are solving the wrong problem. You don't need a generic text summary of a 1-hour video. You need the 5 minutes that actually change how you think.

after talking to many ai app builders in SF and seeing ai apps posted on X, i realized one thing: a lot more mediocre teams are now able to build a lot more mediocre products much faster the projects they built are very demo level, non-usable, and look like every other vibe

Learning ≠ Education. Education is passive and institutional. Learning is active, personalized, and continuous. I’m passionate about building in the learning space.

Sometimes a video is so high-signal, you feel like taking notes all the time So we make it easy in TLDW: select any lines in the transcript, and convert them into notes with one click (or get AI to explain it if you don't get it) @karpathy 's interview is one of those videos

you can't learn to build products from youtube videos you just have to build a product I wanted to understand what it's like to build zero to one: launch, get feedback, iterate, go through that full loop only way to learn is to actually do it

I learned more about AI from the Internet than from Harvard. I've compiled the specific resources I've found useful into a website. And I'm sharing it for FREE: - YouTube videos & channels - Podcasts - People to follow on X - Newsletters I read every day - AI products that I

An MVP is, more than anything, a conversation starter with users. People can tell you what they want only after you SHOW them something tangible.

I talk to so many smart people who want to start creating content but never do. The reason is always the same: they're worried about their image. They're afraid of establishing the wrong reputation. Saying something stupid. Not sounding smart enough. But here's the thing: no

I watch a lot of videos to learn AI but as someone without a super technical background, there are lots of terms/jargon that I don't understand. This is why we built the "explain" feature in TLDW. Select any words in the transcript, and AI will explain for you IN CONTEXT.

The minimum viable team for building a great product in the AI age is 3 people: a product & GTM person + an engineer + a designer
