A magnitude 6.8 earthquake just took place in #Taiwan’s Taitung, which the Meteorological bureau said is the main earthquake in a string of earthquakes that have happened since last night. A building with a 7-11 in Hualien County has collapsed.

New job. I’ve resigned as Presidential Spox to run for Hualien Governor. Hualien is Taiwan’s largest admin region. Its long Eastern coast is strategic to the country’s security. President Tsai insisted I take on this difficult challenge and I am inspired by her to go forward.
