Last week, we met with district foresters from Lower Saxony to present our latest findings. The meeting was hosted by the Niedersächsische Landesforsten and provided a chance for science transfer and to discuss future forest management 🌳🌲 #Enrico #forest #Lower_Saxony

The mobile lift, or skyjack, was transported to one of our plots in preparation for fieldwork! @rschwutke will use it to access the tree canopy and measure heat sensitivity this summer 🌿☀️

Science goes City, a great opportunity to introduce our experiments from the Enrico project. We showed off our LI-COR6800 used in heat sensitivity research; a microscope to inspect arthropods and a high resolution dendrometer. Mini-games and cookies were also part of the fun🤩
