My mission is to make Colyseus profitable enough so this kind of deal is OUT of question. This doesn't look like a good outcome for Cocos Creator and its users. Cocos2d-x is discontinued yet still displaying on website. Users don't seem happy with Creator updates either

We're experimenting with a new way to define state schemas without decorators. This syntax is intended to be the default when Colyseus reaches version 1.0 as we'd like to move away from the legacy decorators syntax. The legacy decorator syntax will continue to be supported.
