@emergenteffects Communism of the Soviet variety was objectively more meritocratic than Social Democracy of the YooKay variety. A bright young lad born in 1919 Vladivostok could by mid-adulthood have sent a rocket to the stars.

The economic terrorists at the Resolution Foundation and their allies have somehow managed to invent a kind of economy worse than Communism. At least the Communists had a plan and there were aspirational routes if you were clever. An evil organisation. Proscribe!

Social democratic outfits will literally not give up until we have total wage compression. The 50-10 gap reduces to zero. The urban scarecrow on minimum wage must have the same living standards as the graduate worker on a middle income. That is the end goal to all of this.

The European mindset had built this by 1920. Do not mistake geographic blessings and avoidance of catastrophic political-economic disasters for a generational mindset issue. Such a lazy take.

To understand the European mindset, you must consider that 20 generations ago an entire new world opened up for the taking, and everyone still in Europe is descended from 20 generations of people who shrugged and said "Nah, not for me."

This money — like much of the government budget — simply evaporates into thin air once spent. People laugh at the Chinese building ghost cities or bridges to nowhere, but we spend as much on such wasteful vanities every week. This is theft from the British people. No tax rises!

BILLIONS WASTED ON MIGRANT HOTELS. This is why Economist, New Statesman are wrong about “just raise taxes”. There is zero consent for tax rises + spending cuts, whilst this goes on. People are furious and it’s not a “comms issue”. Stop treating the public like idiots.

Every instance of images like this breaking containment is ultimately a Reform + 2 in the polling event. The more immigration and demographics increases in salience, the more people will hold their nose over other policies they may disagree with to stop this continuing.

Our communities will never be intimidated by the racists. In 1930s, they targeted East End Jews. In 1978, they murdered Altab Ali and Ishaque Ali. Today, they claimed they would lead a crusade in Whitechapel. We will never let them win.

On Fumbling our Postwar Position due to Socialism:
@emergenteffects

🧵 A commonly accepted refrain is that Britain's involvement in the Second World War sealed our fate, consigning us to be a second rate power for ever more due to our doomed economy and massive debts as a result of the conflict. Instead, 35 years of socialism were to blame.

🧵Much ink has been spilled over Britain’s involvement in the Great War. But a subject that is not touched upon much are the dysgenic consequences the conflict wrought upon the country. The physical, moral, and spiritual wounds on the country were deep and shaped 20th c. history

On Reform preparing for government:
This is why Reform need a plan ready in place for Day 1. Preparing for government starts now. That means, in no particular order: 1. Preparing legislation ready to go to push through Parliament immediately. 2. Comprehensive Civil Service reform mapped out 3. Where possible,

ON THE ORIGIN OF MASSIVE RETARDATION BY MEANS OF GOVERNMENT POLICY: In order to understand our current predicament it is vital to understand the mechanisms by which MASSIVE RETARDATION propagates and brings nations to ruin. I will focus here on MASSIVE RETARDATION in Britain.

WHY RETARDED NATIONS FAIL In their book ‘Why Nations Fail,’ Acemoglu and Robinson argue that the success or failure of a country is determined by its political and economic institutions. However, one thing they have failed to account for is MASSIVE RETARDATION.

On Post-Prosperity Nations:

As a young lad I jokingly coined the term ‘fourth world countries’ to describe those which had once been rich but through their own bad government policy wrecked it and ended up poor. Now that I am (slightly) more mature I would probably use the term ‘Post-prosperity nations.’

On Old Corruption and incentives:
Something I’ve thought a lot about lately is how by all accounts 18th and 19th century British politics was far more corrupt than now but with vastly superior outcomes. Old Corruption of office holders, South Sea company bribery, sale of army commissions, to name but a few.

🧵 There is a lot of blackpilling going around lately. I wanted to counteract that with a quick Whitepill on “Retard Recovery,” or how nations rise again after disaster strikes. There are a few great examples. This should serve as a reminder that it’s never over.

Thank you one and all for 5,000 followers! Particularly to @GallicHotep and @SO3_Clausewitz helping me get over the line. In celebration of what feels like a significant milestone, I thought I’d gather some of my personal favourite bits and B-sides into one thread.

People who see this will naturally ask: “why is it ok to say this about white people?” The spell of “internalised racism” no longer works. Streeting’s comments are beyond the pale. They can only be interpreted from the lens of demographic replacement.

When the history of the collapse of the Yookay is written, I suspect a passage similar to this will appear: “And then senior party officials, blind to the way the winds were blowing, doubled down on race communism not seen since the 2020 Summer of Floyd.”

Retail supermarket’s net margins are around 2%. Were it up to people like Mr Eccles, making a profit would be illegal and nobody would start a business.
