On Sunday, the brilliant Dominic Couzens discussed both his own experiences and his advice for young writers. He was a huge hit with the group and had everyone smiling throughout his talk, while sharing his invaluable knowledge about life as a writer. Thank you @DominicCouzens

Saturday night, Lucy gave a fantastic talk about her career and then taught us about bats! After which, we set off on a bat walk – an excitable group of young people venturing over the heathland in the dark. A definite highlight of the weekend, thank you Lucy! @LucyHouliston

On Saturday, we welcomed Jeni, who spoke about confidence, finding your voice and overcoming barriers that may stop us from writing. The messages given in Jeni’s talk were very important, and it was a delight to be joined by Jeni for the day. Thank you @Jeni_Wild_Bell

On Friday, we welcomed Roger for his talk on nature writing and his experiences in the field. It was interesting to hear Roger’s unique perspective, and everyone thoroughly enjoyed his talk. This was an excellent opening to the weekend – thank you Roger! @RogerMGwriter

Stephen generously joined us for the whole weekend. Being the incredible speaker and guide that he is, Stephen engaged and educated the group on many different topics. Meeting Stephen was an amazing opportunity, all of us hugely valued his company. Thank you @StephenMoss_TV

Just got back from a wonderful weekend in RSPB Franchises Lodge at the @cameron_b_trust Nature Writing Camp. Great to meet and learn from some truly fantastic writers, as well as to see some familiar faces - not to mention seeing crossbills, firecrest, spotted flycatchers... 🤩
