It includes more than 2,000 respondents who answered the pre- and post-election surveys in each election. In addition, it includes responses from panel maintenance surveys in 2019, 2022, and 2024. Enjoy these ANES panel data!

The ANES project provides these tools as a resource for political observers, students, teachers, social scientists, journalists, policymakers, and the general public. We're glad to have been able to update these interactive tools with new data ahead of the new academic semester.

The third, the ANES Continuity Guide, offers a comprehensive list of ANES questions, organized thematically. For each question, the tool displays every year in which the question appeared in the Time Series, beginning in 1952.

The second, the ANES Question Search tool, allows users to enter searches for survey questions that have appeared in ANES Time Series Studies. Search results display questions by year, along with any associated question text and (where available) codebook records.

These web-based, dynamic apps can be accessed via the Data Tools section of the ANES website. The first is the Guide to Public Opinion and Electoral Behavior, with >200 graphs displaying the ebbs and flows of public opinion, electoral behavior, and choice in American politics.

From ANES 2020: Should the federal #MinimumWage be raised, kept the same, lowered but not eliminated, or eliminated altogether? Weighted totals for the responses: 59.8% raised, 31.8 kept the same, 2.7 lowered and 5.7 eliminated.
