According to this article, UCLA is going to pay $60-$80 million to get out of their Rose Bowl lease. That's financial malpractice for an athletic department way in the red - and heads should roll for even considering it.

Wow. UCLA leaving the Rose Bowl... I have thoughts So UCLA had to leave the Rose Bowl imo. I love the RB but it's not practical to play their home games there anymore. It's a hassle to get there. It's not near campus. You just can't create a home atmosphere that often, etc.

BREAKING: Cleveland Guardians pitchers Emmanuel Clase and Luis Ortiz have been indicted by prosecutors in Brooklyn on a host of charges related to a scheme to rig bets on pitches thrown in MLB games. Ortiz was arrested in Boston earlier today. Clase is not currently in custody.
