What's notable here, is that longtime friend of Lillard @ChrisBHaynes is the one who initially dropped the report. Lillard addressed the matter himself, confirming that the Bucks APPROVED said request. A lot of weird stuff coming out at the very top. Continue to tread lightly.

BREAKING: Reports that the Bucks "did not approve" Damian Lillard's request to return home to Portland to be with his family while rehabbing his injury are entirely false. In fact, it was the contrary. The team signed off on Dame's wish directly, prior to the moves that ensued.
