I am pleased to share that we are in the final stages of the BIORISK ICAS study expecting nearly 2500 patients to be included from 36 sites worldwide. This study will provide very important data on who is likely to fail medical therapy & be targeted in future therapeutic trials.

Excited to present our departmental approach to thrombectomy: the TOOFAST technique! No anesthesia teams or flush lines to speed preparation time - median activation to access of 39 mins and access to reperfusion of 21 mins. Proud of our team!

Hot off the press. Get a CT/CTA and go for the LVO. CTP is not needed to help diagnose distal occlusions because EVT does not work in DMVOs. #ISC25

Across 2 decades of hospitalization for spontaneous subarachnoid hemorrhage, the authors analyzed 181,590 cases and observed that microsurgical clipping fell by nearly 50% in favor of endovascular coiling & mortality remained stable despite treatment of sicker and older patients.
