I think a lot of white people no true Scotsman themselves into really weird places about neurodivergency or whatever when they treat most brown people around them that act the same like total dogshit lol. I kind of don’t care to hear about this talking point anymore

I’m really not willing to boil this down to a “neurotypical vs neurodivergent” dichotomy given how often I’ve dealt with this from other nd people
neurotypical people often view direct communication as aggressive bc that is not the way they are used to dealing with issues and so often people thing I am being combative despite the fact that I am making a neutral statement simply because i’m not skirting around a conversation

I’m sorry divas I cannot relate! To chop and mince and peel and simmer is one of life’s most incredible experiences. This is literally how I act when the cooking bug gets me

I’ve met like 2 people that use these that are annoying productivity maxxing techies and everyone else has had horrible physical/mental health problems. I think services that drops off prep kits so you can still engage in cooking and feeding yourself are fine actually

Anyways here’s 3lbs of chicken salad. Made with onion, green apple, parsley, lime, cilantro, tarragon, kewpie mayo, olive oil, capers and chopped hazelnuts. And I still have like 2 chicken breasts leftover from the sous vide
What if you had 5 lbs of chicken for $12 and cooked it like. Literally any other way. I’m about to marinate 5lbs of chicken in lime juice and tarragon and sous vide it to feed me and my gf for a week.

I send my white gf to the viet market to pick me up sesame oil and galangal and chilis for the week. They treat her like a dumb baby every time she goes without me. I’m not Asian at all. This is still way cheaper than shopping at QFC. What the actual fuck do you mean lmao
People are dunking on this but he’s right. “Sesame noodles” isn’t the kind of meal you eat everyday for a week or meal prep. At most you’re eating this once a week. And with this approach to grocery shopping, you have to multiply this shopping load by seven to cover a week. The

This isn’t a problem when you have curiosity about cooking and shop at ethnic markets
@PeterMeijer Love Asian cuisines, but they absolutely are the worst to cook at home. You have to buy 44 ingredients to make one dish and it’s not something you’ll want to have more than once a week. Extremely time intensive and best left to the experts. I took a Vietnamese cooking class once
