Hey @kare11 - check out your archives from 2002 by Mark Daly- he did a similar report not on dogs but humans for an electrotherapy treatment for extreme pain called Sympathetic Therapy System(STS). It was quite the story.

This is my brother Erik. He’s 31, has autism and Down syndrome, and lives in a group home. He is nonverbal and will never pay taxes. I personally would like to know what causes autism and why autism rates have been increasing. This should not make you mad.
