A political movement for Decentralisation. Changing the way government is formed and functions.

DTF is the political purge the silent majority are waiting for. No more parties working toward some misguided notion of utopia. No more career politicians looking for power and glory and neglecting their duty. We are the powder kegs under parliament. Our fuse is lit.

This! And then some! It’s a step in the right direction but the result is still winner takes all. Scrapping the party system is required for full voter control and representation.
The Representation of the People Bill will have its Second Reading today. While it includes some necessary measures, our position is clear: It won't fix our broken democracy without reforming the very voting system that leaves millions of people unrepresented. Scrap FPTP now.

Hilarious! But notice the trend. Every change of leadership starts with immediate satisfaction boost followed by overall decline. The occasional switch from red to blue doesn’t change the overall trends. To me this highlights an underlying problem we have with the party system.

If a political party claims to be for the people, it is almost certainly not for the people.

Starmer might be done but we’ll still have a Labour government. Same ideology, same narrow minded self righteousness. Same corrupt cabal of egomaniacal politicians. https://t.co/Xb9HLM5GSM is the only way we break the cycle of lurching from corrupt Labour to corrupt

At the core of democracy is the concept of group consciousness. This is an extension of the old adage that two minds are better than one. So why do we use a political system that almost exclusively results in a government that the majority of people didn’t want?

So our PM goes to China having just approved the mega embassy with questionable security risks. PM claims the purpose of the visit was trade, specifically boat engines and parts used in migrant crossings are mentioned. What else was discussed? We may never know. So, Where was

Is anybody morbidly curious about how a Lib Dem government would go?

Good luck and all but while Feryal has a degree in biomedical science and a masters in bioinformatics there’s no indication that she has any experience or expertise relevant to being a trade envoy. This is the effect of cronyism that party politics is based on. At

I’m honoured to have been appointed UK Trade Envoy to Germany 🇩🇪🇬🇧 Germany is one of our closest neighbours and most important trading partners, vital for jobs and growth at home. I’m really looking forward to getting started.

In reality, there is no such thing as a government ban on social media for under 16s. What does it actually mean? Mandatory ID checks on social media for every single one of us.

What do you expect your local representatives to do? What should be in their job description? Is there anything you don’t want your local representatives to do?

He’s talking about how America is dealing with the Epstein files but his point is true for the fundamental basis of democracy. It should never have become Left vs Right. This isn’t a game and we’re not taking sides. We need a new way. https://t.co/Xb9HLM6eIk

"Some seats around the country haven't changed hands in over 100 years." On Day 7 of 12 Days of Democracy, councillor @CarlCashman reveals one of his reasons to support the campaign for Proportional Representation. ...and what are your reasons? ✨

The hardest conversations tend to be the most important.
This government (or any other government) cannot begin to fix a problem if it doesn’t address the actual cause. We are at that ludicrous point in history where we avoid talking about real issues for fear offence. With that process nothing will ever be fixed 😏
