For the first time ever, the entire graduating medical class of @Uni_Rwanda has completed the intensive Transfusion Medicine curriculum, covering best practices in the use of blood components and the management of massive hemorrhaging patients.

A transfusion camp is underway in Nyamata this week to train doctors, nurses and laboratory technicians in safe blood transfusion. The camp is an educational programme that aims to increase knowledge in transfusion for staff from various transfusion facilities across the country.
