We have had a few international fellows in @HullHospitals and I have recommended opting out. Gives them quite a bit extra per month take home. #SundayThoughts.

I wonder if anyone advises international fellows to opt out of the NHS pension? Specifically those coming for a 1 year fellowship and not planning on staying. Not an insignificant amount of money. Or if they leave, do they automatically get it back or do they have to apply?.
