Short thread on the most important aspect of the FIT 21 bill - the five prong decentralization test to determine whether or not an asset is a digital commodity. Expect all protocols with goals of decentralizing to be paying very close attention to this test. Bill text below š

The Crypto Millennial Puzzles 1 - design an unbreakable sybil-resistant ID system 2 - design a decentralized and effective moderation system that can't be abused 3 - make passive LPs profitable without POF agreements 4 - make a noncorrelated stablecoin people want to hold

Tragic impact on yETH. Yearn are OGs in the space and I have fond memories working with them in the past. rETH remains unaffected and fully solvent - no issue to the @Rocket_Pool protocol
some other balancer related stuff looking like an exploit considering heavy interactions with tornado yearn, rocket pool, origin, dinero and other LST going around

@drjasper_eth Any post that combines Ursula K. Le Guin and Robin Kimmerer is one I'm happy to read. I find it helps to reframe capitalism as the idea that those with the most capital should have the most decision power. This decouples it from currency, which can support the opposite: many

In case you were worried, we are now running PeerDAS supernodes in order to continue to support stakers of any size. Our entire fleet was upgraded to new hardware this week. We're ready for fusaka!

Value accrual vs Credible neutrality Either Ethereum is a public good. Or a rent-seeking intermediary. No value accrual in the former. No credible neutrality in the latter. The only way to square the circle: Ethereum fees near zero, and ETH is programmable money. Glad

Europe's largest asset manager tokenized a money market fund on Ethereum this week. ā¬2.3 trillion AUM. Live on mainnet. What also happened: ā Visa expands stablecoin settlement across CEMEA ā Bolivia integrates crypto into banking system ā Deutsche Bƶrse adds 3rd euro

Errrm guysā¦.. A ā¬2.2 trillion asset manager called Amundi just launched a tokenized fund on Ethereum. They didnāt ask anyone. They just did it on November 4th and told everyone three weeks later. Youāve never heard of Amundi because they manage European pension funds.

I'll be there first to admit that all these women are smarter than me and are more deserving of a voice than many here
I was the only girl in the room in a Blockspace event last week..and thatās been most of the cases working in Protocol research and MEV The countless time I was ignored in the convo standing when they think Iām someoneās +1, or got called āsirā in DMs til they see my face. the

re: Tether FUD From latest attestation announcement (Q3 2025): "Tether will continue to maintain a multi-billion-dollar excess reserve buffer and an overall proprietary Group equity approaching $30 billion." Tether had (at end of Q3 2025) ~7B in excess equity (on top of the

I hope Zcash resists the dark hand of token voting. Token voting is bad in all kinds of ways (see https://t.co/Cvl7CFVgtc ); I think it's worse than Zcash's status quo. Privacy is exactly the sort of thing that will erode over time if left to the median token holder.

@naval @MindsFiction @zooko Markets are indeed plutocracies, which is exactly why they are terrible at preserving civil liberties. A plutocracy optimizes for 'number go up' in the short term. If removing privacy pumped the bag 20%, the market would vote for it tomorrow. The 'virtue signaling' you dismiss

The rare thing I agree with Kyle on. @Rocket_Pool was fully circulating from the beginning. Lockups distort the market and hurt market participants.
FWIW Iāve been advocating for 100% day 1 unlock for years with port cos Only way to get true price discovery The team that came closest to doing this was⦠Solana! One massive cliff at month 9

Ethereum will be the worldās most trusted network. ETH is the commodity that secures it. Money is religion and faith. The reason BTC is more valuable than ETH is because people have more confidence in the future relevance of BTC/Bitcoin. Once the reverse is made trueā¦
My biggest concern with crypto at the moment is having a large % of my portfolio in ETH and then looking back 10 years from now to realize that Ethereum is Linux instead of MacOS or Windows
