Shri Gopal Krishna Gandhi's memoir is a must read. An honest retelling of the nation as he saw it from the various positions he has held. The chapters in Sri Lanka had me riveted as did his affection for MSS Amma. Delighted to read this anecdote featuring @tmkrishna .

Enjoyed this article on Mangoes on a Monday morning. @nandiniv you came to mind. I suspect your pining for mangoes was one of the reasons to return to the country. Have a wonderful week. Nearly the end of the season, have an extra few this week. 🥭🥭🥭.

RIP #PopeFrancis ! My last read @PicoIyer book " Learning from Silence" had a beautiful mention of him. From his position of power he did not hesitate to admit his vulnerability. Maybe he could have done more, we all can, he was no different and yet he made a difference.
