We created DeEP substrate maps w/ extrastim pacing, and co-localized regions of decrement and uncovered split potentials to BZ channels on LGE-CMR. BZ channels w/ mid-myo involvement, greater complexity & exit sites had more decrement and uncovered splitting. 4/5

We found LGE-CMR border zone (BZ) channel length and complexity โฌ‡๏ธ over time. At 2/12 post-MI, 1/3rd BZ channels involved mid-myo, 1/3rd were conserved and 2/3rd newly formed. 3/5 animals had inducible SMVT at mean LVEF 41%. 3/5

Our current understanding of post-MI VT substrate derives heavily from completed MI model. We used a more contemporary reperfused MI swine model w/ 90min mid-LAD occlusion and studied scar with sequential LGE-CMR, @ADAS3D , functional substrate mapping & programmed stim. 2/5
