Good to step back and see how far we’ve come. Couldn’t be more optimistic about the future
recreated the original chatgpt from 2022, with gpt-3.5-turbo and added gpt-5 as a comparison -- we've come a long way! t'was fairly quick with the new conversations api for easy, persistent chat threads that you can create/retrieve/update/delete try it below

Prompt quality is one of the top factors for how good an AI integration is. We’re making it easier to craft, evaluate and iterate towards the best prompts for your use cases.
🇵 🇷 🇴 🇲 🇵 🇹 🇸 are an API primitive now! Centrally manage, version, and optimize prompts. Use (and reuse!) prompts across the Playground, API, Evals, and Stored Completions.

The future looks like simple agents handling complex, time intensive tasks
1/ Autonomous invoicing You’re a contractor, it’s end of month, and you've got to do your invoices. What a mess! Not any more. Weave together two agents (File Search + Stripe Invoices) to sift through spreadsheets, figure out who to bill, for what, and how much. Et voilà!

We just launched the official OpenAI Agents SDK! Inspired by our Swarm SDK, @_rohanmehta, @stevenheidel, and @jamesmhills evolved it into an even more powerful framework that's a delight to use. We think you'll love using it! https://t.co/mlWHyXX6m5
