@AxisBank To add to the misery, they just replied that no options are now available. Hence, I lost the available seat given they took hours to act. @AxisBank @consumerforum_ @jagograhakjago Given I had already had enough of time, efforts wasted, I don’t want to step back now !

I would STRONGLY suggest not to book via @AxisBank Travel Edge portal Atleast not during Winter Fog Season where cancellations are common. I am still following up and continuing my emails to them. But given they take soo much time to reply, easily wrote this detailed 🧵

Attaching supporting email snips I don’t know what more I could have done. Had I known process is sooo cumbersome and tiring, I would have never booked via them. It was a 4.5k booking only. Could have easily given up on reward points and have booked directly via airline.

Till now ( <6:05pm> ) I did not receive ticket from them. Followed up on email thrice Called twice Yet no ticket till now. I will never be booking from Travel Edge. Have paid the price by losing my peace over a ticket.

Next day Multiple emails ( 7 to be precise ) and calls ( 4-5 calls ) requesting to share options for 21st Dec. Started emails and calls from 7:30am only to prioritize it. <1:13pm> Options for 21st shared <1:14pm> Confirmed the option shared. Approved to book. FUN CONTINUES

Personal experience ( Dec 20 flight ) <9:34pm> I Ask for alternate options <11:43pm> They replied that no flight option for 20th Dec { I never asked for 20th Dec but they shared for only 20th Dec} <11:45pm> I ask for 21st Dec options DAY OVER

These back-n-forth email with significant delays means you end up losing seats which were shared in options as Axis Travel Edge support is very slow. They aren’t available 24*7. Hence anything b/w 9pm-10am is not possible means you loose on urgent requests 😱 Be very careful ‼️

4️⃣ Axis Travel Edge Customer Care Email : They reply extremely slow, and here’s the back-n-forth that happens 1: I request alternate options over email 2: They ask airline options over email 3: They ask which option works for me over email 4: They act based on email reply

3️⃣ Axis Travel Edge Customer Care : 10 mins waiting. Shared them complete detail, and then they mentioned to drop an E-Mail as ticket modification is done by Backend Team which doesn’t come on call and only works with E-Mail. Hence, customer care of no practical help. Email now.

2️⃣ Air India Customer Care : 30 mins waiting even after being AI Gold. They mentioned they have alternate options but given its booked via Travel Agent, request must come from them. This was kinda sad as even after being a passenger, I have no option left to do by my own.

I booked a flight from DEL -> VNS on AirIndia ( AI 2495 ) via Axis Travel Edge thinking of 60 pts/ 200 Rs. But the flight got cancelled by airline. And here the story begins ! 1️⃣ Self Reaccompdation by AirIndia : It showed flight cancelled and Refund issued. ( wrong info )

If you have to book ticket, book directly via AIRLINE or famous OTA’s only. Even if you get less famous website offering slightly cheaper rate, ignore it. Not because the websites might be fraud. Even if they are legit, it’s largely good to ignore them. Learnt the hard way.🧵
