If you are impacted by this, you should actually go ahead and file this as a complaint with the RBI under deficiency of service. Since this is a Debit Card and not Credit, the bank is unilaterally restricting you from accessing your money parked with the bank under some random.
So I D F C has now officially confirmed on email that they have a business rule in place to block all DC transactions for merchants like Good Score, Legalpaytech(zavo), Save sage, Standardchab and Axisbankac. This looks like the first time a bank has tracked who is giving reward

Not surprised at all. The real game changer will be if and when HSBC re-evaluates their current offering with Gyftr to offer multipliers. Until then hold on to that Atlas.

What would make this really interesting is if HSBC launched a voucher multiplier portal (similar to HDFC Gyftr). That could open up rewards on everyday spends like groceries, dining, and shopping.

Final thoughts 💭. The buzz made it sound like HSBC had something disruptive. But in most cases, Axis Atlas still comes out ahead. The only place HSBC Travel may be useful is for flight bookings via their portal.

💳 So how do the cards stack up?. Direct Flights: Atlas remains the leader. Direct Hotels: Atlas. Flights via Bank Portals: HSBC might have an edge. Hotels via Bank Portals: We don't do that here. 😋.
