Great example here. The password on the right was actually more secure because developers used crypt to salt and hash. The password on the right, which is objectively better, failed because the devs stored it in plain text

I feel like this is all I tweet about nowadays, but you can do better @PayPal. Definitely a @PWTooStrong candidate. Also, that period is for the SENTENCE, not the allowed characters. Just to make things a hair more confusing/annoying.

PSA: Stop using midnight/12am as a deadline or milestone point for things. You only create ambiguity and confusion, and that goes double when you use it incorrectly. If you must, use 11:59pm or something similar. Example: Midnight on February 17th is in ~28 hours, not 52.
