This is one reason I really try to avoid getting acutely sick. Given the presence of symptoms related to other conditions, isolating symptoms that demonstrate that one is acutely sick can be very hard. It’s never a simple sick-well binary for the chronically ill.

I love how the diagnostic symptoms for any one medical condition imagine a person having no other medical conditions. Seems like an unsolvable problem, but what does one do when the diagnostic symptoms of a condition are already present due to another condition?.
