Regarding the famous âhonestyâ of fascism, it is actually better when the state expresses shame sufficient so that they are required lie to us .

President Trump and his defense secretary say they want to return to the era when America won wars. They largely ignore the greatest accomplishment of the past 80 years: avoiding superpower conflict.

RT @BMarchetich: It's jarring to read this, and then think back to the over-the-top, hysterical outrage at a Chinese balloon floating intoâŚ.

I donât even know what to say anymore âMeanwhile, a prominent Palestinian academic has starved to death amid Israelâs blockade of food and medicine. Before his death, 60-year-old Omar Harb lost 26 members of his family to Israeli attacksâŚâ

Itâs funny how the Right likens everything to slavery, except slavery, much the way everything is antisemitism, except actual antisemitism.

Just heard on KPFA that the biggest line of applause at the Labor Day Platner/Sanders rally in Portland, ME - attended by tens of thousands - was for their promise to cut military aid to Israel. Times really are aâchangin.

Ofc Prinz himself was a Zionist but that is not the pt - the catastrophe of Holocaust was so widely understood to be a warning against racism & apartheid itâs clear no other utterance could be imaginable; now it is Prinzâs presence at the March that seems hard to believe 5/5.

Not only is the memory of the Holocaust inverted, even the memory of earlier Holocaust memorialization is turned on its head, used to support racism rather than challenge it. If there were a new âMarch on WAâ the âantisemitism industryâ wld undoubtedly call the cops 4/4.

Now, the meaning of the speech is inverted: not only is it in the service of âfighting antisemitism,â antisemitism is understood only as criticism of Israel, in an attempt to suppress the very anti-racist mvts for which the speech was once intended 3/4.

Ofc Prinz deployed his own Holocaust memory in the struggle for racial justice in the US, strongly implying that the fight against anti-Black apartheid was in essence the new fight against fascism 2/4.

Regarding Cuomoâs fears the DSA will wreck NYCâs economy, I just read an account of how early 20th C rent strikes crashed a speculative real estate economy & forced capital & the city to build housing more aligned w human need. Ofc some speculators lost their fast-buck fortunes.

Just now catching up on âperformative maleâ discourse - we went from âreading books is gayâ to âreading books is to manipulate girl brainsâ and I just want to say we still not far from the âonly possible correct masculine posture is to burn them.â.
