"Because of the mentorship relationship and our discussion on goals and values, what changed for me was a deeper understanding of who I was and what I needed to value. For that I’m grateful." – @doranwalker. Get the full episode: https://t.co/t1NEyM23VL @EHLCanada @CCHL_CCLS

Another key takeaway: health leaders must practice compassion for others that they lead, but also critical towards themselves. @NHLC_CNLS #NHLC2022 @DeeTaylor2017 @doranwalker @CHLNet1

I learned long ago that not everyone can be a leader. Even when they seem to have the skills & experience, some will get seduced by power. They don’t listen & are blind to everything around them. But everyone can build #leadershipcompetencies ie.#selfawareness #empathy #humility

Oh hey, the Alberta Government did one of those 4:52 p.m. news releases. They're cancelling 11 recently issued coal leases. That might sound significant but the affected areas are very small additions (black) to much larger existing coal leases (grey) in the area. #ableg

In NYC, crime fell 20% in the second half of March. Murders in Los Angeles were down 43%. But - while violence on the streets may be falling - reports of domestic violence surge around the world. #CoronavirusPoliticsDaily https://t.co/ebHhyFTDUd

A note on physical distancing. It has been nearly a week since strict measures for social distancing and mass gatherings were put in place. While I do encourage people to go for walks and enjoy being outside, it is EXTREMELY important to maintain distance. #COVID19AB (1/3)

This is a trying time but it is not the time to panic, be of anger or inconsiderate. This is a time for all to have love compassion for all. To take of one another as one. In the end we are all family.
