It was great discussing engineering attrition with @GergelyOrosz. He has collated a ton of insights from a range of eng leaders too….
What is "great", "normal" and "bad" attrition at various companies?. Talking with ~30 hiring managers and with @domjacquesson, here are numbers that most people mentioned. Peak attrition is usually around Series B & "hypergrowth". Above 20-25% annual attrition is bad, anywhere.
