The climate crisis has always been political. We literally engage with political leaders to demand action. We advocate to pass legislation. And viewing certain people and parts of nature as disposable is what got us here in the first place.

Why do I speak up for oppressed peoples as a climate justice advocate?. Because human rights is tied to climate action. I care about the wellbeing of people and planet. I want a world where people wake to the sound of bird song and not bombs. Inequalities fuel the climate crisis.

the party of what? 😭. cutting life saving disability benefits for people who need it won’t get them to ‘work,’ they have benefits for a reason! It will simply mean that so many people will suffer from cruel decisions.
The Tories created a system that callously wrote off millions. Labour, the Party of work, will put it right.

This is incredibly cruel and people will die from this. The idea that there is so much disability benefits fraud is incorrect, and just a blatant lie. disabled people in this country need MORE support, not less. the system is already unbearably cruel.
ITV News has just posted details of the disability benefits cuts:. - PIP will be harder to qualify for.- PIP will be frozen not rise with inflation.- universal credit rate cut for unfit for work but raised for those looking for work or in work. This is so unspeakably cruel.

I’m so pleased to be here with the Mayor today to celebrate that ULEZ has led to substantial improvements in air quality in outer London and across the capital. I am so glad that children will grow up breathing cleaner air than I did!
