as I started exploring alternatives to cursor, I must say that I tried sst/opencode and it just didn't work out for me, neither did claude code. I did have the first good impression about augment code, and I will also try trae.

Exactly this. I had an annual plan since Jan, they did major detrimental changes to it at least twice. Finally got my partial refund this week. It is sad as I think cursor has the best product so far, hopefully competition will catch up. Testing augment code at the moment.
Why is no one talking about how @cursor_ai essentially rug pulled???. Making the pricing "unlimited" and then changing it to limited without any warning at all, i check dashboard and they bill me $71 for just 1 day of sonnet-4 usage???.

Any companies paying top compensation for remote EMEA roles? Most limit to select EU countries and not country-independent. Curious about non-SWE roles like cloud/infra architects or sales engineering. Maybe some AI labs within EMEA are hiring remote?.

Cursor is now on your phone and on the web. Spin off dozens of agents and review them later in your editor.

I am quite salty about the way @cursor_ai rolled out changes to pro plan. everything is so vague now with regards to usage and rate limits. also liking how they just forced everyone into the new pricing and hid the switch.

people using claude code / opencode as your primary coding assistant, aren't you missing smart autocomplete? .I am tired of cursor changing what you get, but is there anything better for autocomplete? supermaven seems to be unmaintained. is zed autocomplete any good?.

Had the same experience and switched to affinity too. Adobe is anti-consumer.
Adobe is the example of what greed does to a company. No matter how outraged people are; no matter that the FTC is suing Adobe and executives for this practice; Adobe keeps doing it. I got scammed by this same practice in 2020 the same way: I switched to Affinity instead.

Just handed in my resignation at AWS. Time to explore something new. Really enjoy cloud infra/platform engineering as well as customer-facing aspect. Excited about diving deeper into Cloudflare/Azure and hopefully being more disciplined about content creation!.

I think @cursor_ai pricing becomes more user hostile with every update. last change to pro plan makes it even more black box experience than before. remember times when you had zero restrictions on pro?.I think it is time to try @OpenCode_AI.
