The march of time is part of every person's experience. What happens when it's removed from a game where you take the role of a person?.
A majority of people now don't get that "playing a role" could include experiencing the pressures of urgency - aka the pressure of time that you can't pause at whim - among other negative consequences for indecision. #dnd
