The blunders in the Abu Dhabi autonomous racing showcase really exposes the limitations of a deep learning centric approach to vision. 8 laps took an hour (!) in a sport where computers should have decisive advantages on reaction time, racing line adherence, etc.

The problem with this line of thinking is that Sora doesn't generate clock objects (or any other objects for that matter), just images that may include a clock in them. The numbers won't move and there certainly won't be an internal sense of time built into that clock image.
I had a strange thought around Sora. OpenAI thinks Sora will be the future of games. Pixels will be generated and not rendered. Ok, I can get behind that. But how would Sora work for multiplayer? As someone who has worked on multiplayer in game engines before, the most likely.
