A superb quote posted by a member of the Royal Marine Historical Society Facebook group: "Keir Starmer currently has the clarity of vision of a blindfolded miner who has just been robbed of his Davy Lamp." So apt.

The same council now accuse me of possessing an 'empty house' and demand to know why. Sod off @ArunDistrict and undertake some basic research.

.@LBC @NickFerrariLBC — If @metpoliceuk officers are (and probably rightly so) going to have to reveal their Freemason ties, it's only right those officers who are members of the Catholic Guild have to do the same. It's equally as iffy — within the context of The Job.

Be wary dealing with council tax officials @ArunDistrict. An employee tried to suggest I was liable for a previous owners one year vacant ownership debt. "The tax is on the property, not the owner." Think I convinced him this isn't how life works. Private Pike, "stupid boy", etc.

.@LBC @NickFerrariLBC — I'm sure they're just @RSPCA_official employees undertaking a swan welfare check.

.@ThamesVP — M40 northbound, just outside MPD but before Beconsfield turn off, a guy has pulled over onto the hard shoulder to apparently pray.

.@DailyMail — Interesting story re @KarenFindlayMPS, etc. Do a bit of digging and you'll discover the identity of a serving @metpoliceuk Commander who forced her/his elderly father to 'accept' their speeding points and fine.

Start listening?!! You have replies turned off, Lady Nugee. You couldn't make this shit up . . .
We were given a huge gift by the British public of a huge majority. But now we are on 20% in the polls. We have to stop making mistakes and start listening. And we must be prepared for the fight of our lives against Farage.

A superb idea. I'm going to get one of a colleague & I making our escape in the middle of the night from a rural estate in Kent, being pursued by a tooled up known villain & his henchmen, armed with a sawn-off and various other weapons & accompanied by an obligatory pack of dogs.

Once again, @bbclaurak rolls out pound shop Sean Connery, Brian Cox – the actor, not the astrologist [sic] – to inflict his wisdom upon Brits who actually live in the UK. I love being lectured by a guy who chooses to live and pay his taxes in the USA.

As for @NadineDorries suggestion of a collaboration with @BorisJohnson, it will be the death of @reformparty_uk. The guy is a buffoon. He didn't possess an ounce of leadership.

.@SurreyPolice, @SurreyRS — This idiot is zipping around the Goldsworth Park/Horsell areas, Woking, apparently keen to cause an accident. Part registration, LK . . LWW.

Why, @Nigel_Farage, are political has-beens such as @JakeBerry (a Remainer & a Net Zero devotee) & @NadineDorries (introduced the Online Safety Bill) being welcomed into @reformparty_uk?

So, we now have a Prime Minister, @Keir_Starmer, who doesn't know what a woman is, and a Deputy Prime Minister, @DavidLammy, who thinks a man can grow a cervix. The next few years are going to be a blast . . .

.@GBNEWS @PatrickChristys — Someone inform Beijing Barry that when Blair was PM removals to Iran were a frequent occurrence. I've been to Tehran several times. I even escorted a guy back due to be hanged. So much for the "UK doesn't extradite people facing execution" bullshit.

The "who supplies the planes" question: most removals were via schedule flights. As government paid for fullfare tickets, airlines liked the business. Smaller commercial airlines, both UK & foreign, provided aircraft for charter flights. Occasionally, private aircraft were hired.
