#Reform Council in #Lancashire … The #Reform Councillor in charge of care homes, is going to shut council care homes, forcing residents to move to private care homes. On an ‘unrelated’ note, the same #Reform Councillor is the owner of multiple local private care homes.

This is Sarah Pochin - Reform UK MP for Runcorn - @SarahForRuncorn Sarah doesn't want to see black or Asian people on her TV. She said: “It drives me mad seeing adverts full of black and Asian people.” This sort of racism is abhorrent, and she must resign. RT if you agree.

WTF? Where are Obama and Biden and all the western leaders and celebs who held her up as a hero when she was campaigning on Feb climate? All silent now as reports suggest she may be being abused in Israeli detention? She must be released.

Francesca Albanese’s thoughts as to the true death toll in Gaza 🇵🇸: ‘65,000 are reported as murdered’ ‘75% woman & children’ ‘But some believe it’s more likely 680,000’ ‘Impossible to confirm because 🇮🇱 bans entry’ ‘But if correct then 380,000 children will have been murdered’

I've not been able to do my job for the last 3 months because of a DWP decision to cut my #AccessToWork support. This week I received a letter reinstating my support, while this is good news for me there are many others still affected by cuts & delays https://t.co/5WKeVYgvXs 1/2

Yep, @DrFrancesRyan spot on again. The disablist media/political discourse means disabled people are forced to 'prove our humanity on repeat':

Remembering Srebrenica must go hand in hand with opposing genocide in Gaza, I argue in this new article. The one cannot be used to deny the other.

This is why I will be voting against the Bill today. I remember the immense suffering & deaths caused when George Osborne forced through benefit cuts like this. The government should concentrate on helping people deal with their illness & disability not harming them in this way.

@Shrink_at_Large The problem is the system - it decides what is a person’s ‘main disabling condition’ & only records that for statistical purposes This leaves lots of room for false narratives to be developed & for lazy journalists & politicians with an agenda to then spread these widely 😕

I just asked the Secretary of State for Work and Pensions to name a single disabled people’s organisation that supports the Government’s “reforms”. She couldn’t name one. The Government should scrap this awful Bill, but if it doesn’t I will vote against it.
