Hey, this is awesome. Cloudflare making this stuff easy (and cheap) is great for MCP adoption. They are really the leader cloud provider for MCP. And as a shameless pitch we are building a similar thing but open source and self hosted.

It's not the agent thing I've been doing, but we've been working on the OAuth problems in MCP and I'm excited to release a small project to help with OAuth and MCP-UI auth madness. Getting OAuth to work with MCP-UI is double advanced mode. Next week we should release it.

I'm optimistic for science and medicine. I think we'll get the point that we can cure cancer. And then social security will really be screwed. We'll just have to start euthanizing people at 100. "Sorry Grandma, we really didn't financially plan for you to live so long.".
I've met two YC startups this summer that have cancer cures ready for clinical trials, and I've heard of several others that do. It feels like something is going to happen. The world may be very different in 10 years.

I'm speculating that an agent interface to mundane tasks would be better than the equivalent website/mobile UX. Checking email, transferring money, finding and scheduling a plumber. AI agents don't have to be new AI functionality but instead a better conversational interface.

The internet, in terms of www, is fine. Well not, it's a sess pool of garbage, but AI doesn't need to fix that. We can just build a new thing for AI and agent. Just leave www be.

@cosmicfibretion sorry to hear :/ it is a unique period to have free time. pro models are now excellent (rigorous) rubber ducks for all science musings.for show and tell, enjoying surface area and volume. with a suggestion of how it might be exhibited in quantum, and tested.

Does somebody at AWS want to talk to me about A2A? I'll be nice, but I'm going to argue hard against A2A. I'm surprisingly reasonable in person. Your effort to jump ahead is going to miss the mark. Or I'd gladly love to learn why I'm wrong.
@_ediri I can not reinforce this enough. They are making a terrible decision. I will die on this hill and will be there in one year to laugh at them. DO NOT EMBRACE A2A. There is zero evidence it's the right solution. But AWS in their absolute stupidity will embrace it and will think.

We need MCP-UI specific stacks. Like a react, svelte, solidjs, etc whatever based solution. You need to combine MCP server and a frontend stack. It's not super obvious how to do that. And handle auth, which makes it basically impossible.

The way I design a system is I sit there and stare at it until the answer comes to. And if the answer doesn't come, I go to Twitter and complain. So here I am. Why OAuth! Why!? You are the answer to and the source of all of my problems.

Models are AI, like core AI. Agents are basically applications. The new web application, mobile app. Building one is much closer to traditional app development than "AI.".

I really thought AI would just use the existing internet. I no longer think that will happen. We are going to just rewrite all the things for AI with MCP. People will be motivated. It gives them something to do.
