I think I'm going to switch to bun. Basically I'm just going to copy everything opencode and @thdxr is doing. They seem smart.

It's okay, I started on localhost:8080. You can succeed on whatever port you choose.
Every successful startup started on localhost:3000.

i don’t think you understand . you switch to bun install. your dependencies install faster. you switch to bun build. your app builds faster. you switch to bun test. your tests run faster. you switch to bun run. your package.json scripts start faster. you switch to bun’s runtime.

My theory is once you get to a certain scale the exact tech of MySQL vs Postgres is not so much your issue. It's just the issues of managing a lot of things and visibility to it. I'm sure they could support sqlite and still have tons of value.

I support this effort. We honestly do need "yet another database" and sqlite is a good model to start from. There's advantages to rewriting a system after decades of experience. It's not a short term play, this is to set a foundation for the next 20 years of tech.
