BC disallowed private clinics as the physicians are supported already by the Medical Protection Act. Federal government withdrew federal transfer payments to Quebec because of the privatization. Doctors are leaving the province. Lack of regulation, oversight , non compliant
New Brunswick refused to offer abortion to its population. Quebec approved private health clinics for a two tiered system a couple decades ago. BC has offered significant private health options for Canadians wealthy enough to skip provincial queues.
