Went to @Lowes and purchased an (opened) box of 12 lightbulbs. Got home and discovered 2 were (dead) returned bulbs. They weren't even the same manufacturer. I wanted to blame the person who did it or Lowes for restocking it. I blame myself.

I found out today that you can indeed eat an open jar of kimchi that is 6 months past its use by date and not get sick. It will give you wicked gas, but I now have zero trust in use by dates.
