the movement to defend the atl forest from becoming a massive police training compound ("Cop City") or a soundstage movie complex was built almost completely of volunteers, unpaid activists, and do-it-yourself organizers. the presence of a few NGOs at rallies doesnt change that.

Trumps round-table described the movement to Stop Cop City as domestic terrorism. We heard this before, from local Democrats. Today, we echo calls to unite against autocracy. Wherever 5 or 10 ppl come together, let fear subside and tactics begin.

Cop City construction will never end. The forces behind it, specifically APF Pres Dave Wilkinson, cut their teeth in the 20 years of grift and fraud that was the Afghan war money train. The facility will always "need" new upgrades, new renovations, new taxpayer funding.

Yesterday, a judge sentenced Casey Goonan to 20 years for defense of a Gaza solidarity encampment. From coast to coast, the gov't is repressing autonomous movements and specifically the anarchists. Set aside your quarrels. They are coming for all of us.

the new red scare isnt a force of nature. its conducted, and facilitated by human beings. it is propped up with infrastructures, offices, contracts, and equipment. it is arranged in conferences, email lists, phone calls, and meeting halls. together, we can find the weak spots.
