We have learned that an Atlanta-based activist was arrested by DHS and FBI yesterday around 6pm. Community leaders say this arrest is an attack on dissent, and call for his release. Charges are unknown. We stand ready to support all targets of political repression.

Starting this month, Ring will deploy facial recognition in all of its doorbell cameras and share its camera feeds with Flock, a company that makes traffic/roadside cameras. Both will share geolocation and facial recognition data with law enforcement and ICE without a warrant.
