Today we celebrate the end of chattel slavery in the US. But NY still allows slavery as punishment. States like Alabama & Tennessee have already banned this practice, & I'm proud to co-sponsor a bill that would do the same here. Join me in saying #NoSlaveryInNY this Juneteenth!
