Back in the Hub of the Universe last night and fittingly this morning power is out (National Grid) and Internet is down (Comcast). Fortunately, my backups (Generac 22kW w/ ATS + LTE 4G modem) kicked in automatically and it's business as usual here. Love when things Just Work(tm).

Used to roll my eyes about how abolishing DST / summer-time would save businesses hundreds of millions of dollars. Participating in weekly international standards meetings with people around the world and trying to schedule meetings as a group, I now see what it's all about #DST.
