US farmers are saying we "just need temporary help, until things get better." Here's the thing. US farm exports- which are mostly soy- CAN'T get better. Other countries are now fillingl China's demand. We've walled ourselves out of the global market, folks. This is it.

US tariffs update: Imported goods cost 5% more, domestic goods 3% more than pre-tariff trends predicted. Data now runs through Aug 8 โ and we push the history back to Jan 1, 2024 (Appendix), showing a full year of stability before tariffs broke the trend. https://t.co/BFAmW0frQF

โWe got on the stage and I just remember watching people walk away before we even started playingโ: Brad Whitford and Joe Perry on the time Aerosmith were upstaged by their support act

The guitarist โ who came before an Aerosmith festival headline slot โ returned to the stage for three separate encores and proved to be a tough act to follow

We don't talk to good farmers, with different enterprises to our own enough. There's always something that's relevant to both of you with mutual gain achievable .

Disappointing analysis on food price increases in today's Irish Times. Farmers are price takers and don't have the capacity to "push up their prices" as claimed. Also fails to say that the CCPC report also showed that Irish food price levels today are similar to 2008, 16 yrs ago
