Such an Irish thing really isnt it. Cattle in the Áras. I've also liked seeing baled grass in the Phoenix Park of a later summer.
Dexter Cattle, a rare native breed, have returned to Áras an Uachtaráin. The Dexter Cattle reduce grass on the grounds ahead of the spring and summer allowing for more species to flower, benefitting nature and soil, as well as promoting the genetic diversity of Ireland’s cattle

Thanks to an observant member of the public, we were recently able to assist this adult swan at Elsecar Reservoir, reported to us with a fishing hook in the webbing of bird’s foot. The hook was carefully removed, and the swan immediately returned to his family.

I found myself getting very angry listening to less than convincing commentary frm @InlandFisherIE @EPAIreland on @RTECountryWide abt Blackwater. No urgency whatsoever. Im wondering does govt care at all abt this river, water quality, nature @timmydooley

Shocking and sad to see 3 rare White-tailed Eagles killed by wind turbines in Co. Donegal. Clearly the collision risk modelling used in the planning permission application was deeply flawed in this case.
