Attended the National Rowing Centre regatta 30.04.22. I informed @RowingIreland that I, a ♿️ user, was trapped in the car b/c the sites completely inaccessible. Emails were shared & I spent days drafting an email w/relevant links to improve site accessibility.

Announcement! We have a new species for Ireland! Ivy Bee (Colletes hederae) was found on the 12/10/2021 at The Raven Nature Reserve in Co. Wexford by recorder Jim Kenny. A phenomenal find and certainly something to keep an eye out for to see if there are any other populations

First sighting of Asian hornet confirmed for Ireland. One insect was found ‘alive but dying’ on 25th of April, 2021 in north Dublin. No indication of breeding so nothing to worry about. See the Invasive Species Alert here
