It is hard to communicate how much programming has changed due to AI in the last 2 months: not gradually and over time in the "progress as usual" way, but specifically this last December. There are a number of asterisks but imo coding agents basically didn’t work before December

16 years ago, Albert and I started @symphco in a small room in Cebu. We began with coffee meetings and one question: “What’s not working?” 2,000+ products later, 2 of our original customers are still with us. That’s not luck. That’s care. Today we found a way to build

Software built around how you work. Not off-the-shelf. Not custom dev pricing. Starting at $799/month.

Vector is customizable to your workflow. Not the other way around. Project management shouldn’t slow builders down. It should disappear. Stop waiting. Start shipping. https://t.co/CZDL5BjZzS

We’ve been building software for 16 years at Symph. We’ve used every PM tool you can name. And every single one forced a compromise. • Too slow • Too rigid • Too bloated • Built for reporting, not shipping So we stopped adapting to tools. We built one that adapts to us.

Your PM tool shouldn't take longer to load than your code to compile Vector: 5ms load time Keyboard-first navigation (5 boards in 2 seconds) CRDT sync (zero conflicts, like Google Docs but 200x faster) Free tier: 10 users, 3 projects, no credit card Stop waiting Start shipping.

I contend that there has never been a better time to be a startup founder or venture builder.

Today hit differently. It didn't happen all at once, but the rate of change we are seeing on the capacity of AI to develop is really fast. Today there was a deep realization that what we've been trying to build at @symphco is now possible. Get ready for a new season!

Vibe coding is the new product management. Training and tuning models is the new coding.

Two years ago, building what I'm building now would've taken a team of 5 and $200K. Last week I shipped the same thing in 3 days with Claude. The leverage changed. Most people's assumptions didn't update.

I agree with this. It’s also an opportunity for those who are time rich:

increasingly convinced the highest leverage thing you can do right now is spend 10+ hours a day vibe coding / prompt engineering / building MCPs bc it's "easy" most people won't do the reps to get intuition about how these systems work best and then by next yr will be too late

Pondering this one: “So numerous indeed and so powerful are the causes which serve to give a false bias to the judgment, that we, upon many occasions, see wise and good men on the wrong as well as on the right side of questions of the first magnitude to society.”

I’m curious to what the data shows. Could we not easily see what jobs and roles and being filled by H-1B visa holders? #opendata

Elon Musk is wrong. The main function of the H-1B visa program is not to hire “the best and the brightest,” but rather to replace good-paying American jobs with low-wage indentured servants from abroad. The cheaper the labor they hire, the more money the billionaires make.

if you could press a button that cures your child’s brain tumor in exchange for ending your life immediately, every parent would hesitate for zero seconds before fighting to be the first to press it the cruelest thing is that no such button exists. but there is always a move 👇
