Pretty awesome! For the record, 10 of us are camping through -30°s on the Muller ice cap at 80°N attempting to recover a 600m ice core, which would be the longest in canadian history & provide a 10,000yr climate record! And yes we can stream the @NHLJets!.

@ceos_um It's a mix of excitement and nerves working on just 45 cm of sea ice about 20 km from the station with high winds during polar night. Months of preparation and a strict safety plan, which included loads of thickness measurements along the route, meant everything went well.

Back from two weeks at Eureka where we deployed equipment on the newly formed sea ice (~45 cm). No sun, but we lucked out with a clear full moon that made for some pretty incredible views. Fingers crossed everything works until we return in May! @ceos_um

Back from an incredible 3 weeks onboard the @CoastGuardCAN Des Groseilliers doing CTDs through the Canadian Arctic during its annual run to Eureka. Managed to push right up to the edge of the arctic ice pack at the entrance to Nansen Sound, sampling areas not sampled in 50 years.

Anyways, my new pet project is now to find old landfast MYI that we can look at for signs of layering.
