This is why you cannot take folks who bad mouth CGI in blockbuster movies seriously. They don't have the ability to objectively judge quality. The war on VFX was decided for them. And without a rational thought, often clouded by nostalgia, you get nonsense comments like this.

Weta should've posted this when the marketing campaign inc. the director @fedalvar rode the "No-CG" trend to promote the film. Guess they were contractually forbidden for 6+ months aftr release. Love the CG, but can't watch the movie because of the disrespect shown to CG artists.

Instead of deleting your socials and hopping platforms every 6 months, start an email list. Redirect your followers to join, let them know they can see regular updates in their email with no algorithm, with the content they are already following for but missing out on.
