Employee 1-10 can work *almost* as hard as the founders yet have basically 0 equity while making less than market value all while taking on the risk. After series A is a sweet spot - make a great salary, less risk, and equity can be valuable if big exit.
Controversial opinion: The earliest employees of a startup are under compensated on equity Early team members usually make less than they would elsewhere & are frequently almost as emotionally committed Yet, their equity is often a tiny fraction of founder equity Thoughts?

Not having a striker in season 1 really hurt. I’m season 3 we have multiple super capable strikers.
