The 2 main parties have not just IGNORED men's health, but have relegated it. Despite their OWN INQUIRY's (all-party) recommendations that "strategy should specifically consider the way that NHS services provide gender-responsive care for men". Worrying.

It'd be very useful for @CambPressAssess and report author Matthew Carroll and Tim Oates to respond. Important to understand the thinking in how they turned their own research showing problems affecting young men into a narrative that the problem primarily affects young women.
This horrifying article is an astonishing, deeply depressing, downright shameful illustration of the challenges we still face in trying to get the educational establishment to understand & take seriously the national crisis in boys' educational underachievement. 1/6 🧵
