@lionarys7 @brjavaman @JavaOne We did some work with Rust. It’s interesting, but:.1. We have a lot of stuff already built in Java (libraries and such).2. We’re more productive with Java. Maybe that’s just experience, but we have a lot of Java devs. 3. The JVM is just as fast for real world applications . Not.

Such a bad take. And more describing the society, than developers. Like compare a genius cello player who can perform Paganini and modern rap/hip-hop hypers….Just disgusting.
The game community in shambles, throwing tantrums and melting down because an indie hacker built a $100k/mo game in a week is worth of studying. People are now realizing that someone with agency and the guts of putting something out there is out-earning decades of technical.
