Black Women’s Equal Pay Day is not just a date on the calendar—it’s a receipt marked by exhaustion, resilience, and being underpaid.

Lilly Ledbetter, the activist who inspired Fair Pay Act, dies at 86 : NPR Lilly Ledbetter was a friend and advocate to #MS . I worked with her over the years to push for a good Equal Pay law for the state. Our work continues.#EqualPay #lillyledbetter

In 2023, the gender pay gap was the lowest on record. Despite the progress we have made, the fight for equal pay continues. On the 15th anniversary of the Lilly Ledbetter Fair Pay Act, the Biden-Harris Administration recommits to closing gender and racial wage gaps.

The #ChildTaxCredit reduced child poverty significantly during the pandemic. Since the expiration of #CTC poverty rates have seen record high. We need bipartisan support to reinstate #CTC. Families depend on it to make ends meet.

The bipartisan #ChildTaxCredit supports families of every race, in every state. Urban and rural, from the lowest incomes up. It helps to level the playing field so every child has a shot to succeed. @SenateDems @SenateGOP, expand #CTC ASAP! https://t.co/nkezue5mpn
